Permintaan kopi bubuk “Kapal Karam” diasumsikan X ton per minggu dengan harga Rp. 12 juta/ton. Pemerintah akan menetapkan kenaikan harga eceran gula dari Rp Y juta / ton menjadi Rp. 4,5 juta / ton. Tentu saja produsen kopi bubuk “Kapal Karam” kawatir akan berpengaruh pada volume penjualan produknya. Oleh karena itu ia melakukan survei. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa Elastisitas Harga Silang Kopi Bubuk ”Kapal Karam” terhadap harga gula yaitu EK/G = -1,5. Bilamana kebijaksanaan itu dilaksanakan, berapa penurunan penjualan kopi bubuk “Kapal Karam” tersebut per minggu?
Diketahui seorang konsumen mengkonsumsi 0 unit barang memperoleh kepuasan sebesar 0 utility. Bila ia mengkonsumsi barang sebanyak X unit kepuasannya sebesar Y unit. Bila ia menambah konsumsi lebih dari X unit maka kepuasannya akan kurang dari Y, tentukan fungsi kepuasannya?
